What types of rooms are available in the hotel?

Are your hotel rates per room or per person?

The rates charged are per room per night(2person/room). The rates are including daily breakfast, governt taxes and services

Does my room reservation require any guarantee?

All room reservations require a credit card guarantee. We accept only VISA and MASTER

How many people can stay in one room?

Each guest room can accommodate a maximum of three people. Please note that the third bed will be a bed. The third person pay additional cost for an extra bed.

Do you offer discounts for a group booking?

For details of the group rates which are available, please contact the hotels Reservations Department.

Do you have a pet policy?

We regret that animals are not allowed to stay in guest rooms. We are strongly to keep the room clean. If you bring animals with you, they will be kept in a separate area of the hotel. This service is 1500.-Baht per night/pet

What are the standard check in and check out times of the hotel?

The standard check-in time is 12:00 and check out is at 12:00 noon. However, if you are arriving earlier then we make every effort to ensure that a room is available for you.

Is it possible to check-in earlier?

It is sometimes possible to check in earlier, however, this depends on availability and cannot be gurranteed. However, to be sure of having the room ready upon arrival, you can reserve the room from the night before.

Can I have a late check-out?

It is possible to have a late check out till 2pm. Please note that, for check out after 14:00, an additional room night will be charged at the regular room rate.

Do you have twin, triple and quadruple rooms?

We do have twin rooms. For triple rooms, an extra bed may be added. However, no quadruple rooms are available.

Are King size beds available in the rooms?

Yes, they are. Superior bungalow garden king size bed or Poolview bungalow king size bed

Do you have room with a bathtub?

We do not have room with a bahtub

Do you have non-smoking room?

Yes, most of our rooms are non-smoking and are available upon request.

Are safety deposit boxes available at the hotel?

There are safety boxes available at the Front desk.

How do I cancel my hotel reservation without a charge?

To cancel your booking without incurring any charge, please contact the Reservations Department at least 7 days prior to your arrival. Our customer will respond to you within 24 hrs.. Please note that you must be booked on a 'Flexible' rate type as 'Advance Pre-Paid or Promotion' rates are non-refundable. Travelling with Children

Is a babysitting service available?

Yes, we have babysitting service available on request. Please inform us at least 3 days in advance or contact front staff for more details. Charges will apply.

What facilities are available for children?

At the hotel there is a childrens pool and high chairs are available in the restaurants.

Are baby cots available for the rooms?

Baby cots are available on request. Charges will apply.

Are high chairs available in the restaurants?

Yes, we do have high chairs available in all our restaurants.

Where is breakfast served and at what times?

An international buffet breakfast is served in from 06:00-10:00 hrs.

How many bars and restaurants do you have and what are they?

LeBarra serves a-la carte throughout the day. We have a large selection including Thai food and international food. It is a great place to relax for cocktails.

Is a special menu available for children?

We do not have menu specific for children. We have a large selections of Thai and foreigner food. Our menu cater for young and old.

Is vegetarian cuisine available in the restaurants?

A selection of vegetarian dishes is available.

Do you have 24-hour room service?

Yes, we do.

General Information

Is there a swimming pool in the hotel?

Laluna has a large lagoon style swimming pool is located at the back of the hotel , hidden in our garden oasis. Open from 06:00-20:00 hrs.

How much parking space is available at the hotel?

The parking lot can accommodate up to 100 cars.

Do you have hairdryers in the rooms?

Hair dryers are available in every guest room.

What television channels are available in the rooms?

We have 20 channels in guest rooms. These are as follows although they are subject to change: TV 3 (Thai), TV 5 (Thai), TV 7 (Thai), TV 9 (Thai), NBT (Thai), CNN, BBC-London, Aljazeera, Star Movies, Star Sport Channel, HBO Movie Channel, Bloomberg, ET TV-N-Asia, TV 5 (France), DW (Germany), Australia Network, NNK (Japanese), News Asia, Animal Planet, Classical Music, Jazz Music.

Is email service available at the hotel?

Guests are able to send and receive email at the internet service counter. We also have WI-FI in all areas.

How long does it take from Chiang Rai International airport to the hotel?

Laluna Hotel&Resort is approximately 10 kilometres from the airport or a 15-minute drive away.

Do you have private transfer or taxi service?

We do have taxi service between hotel and Air port. We also have transfer service to Chiang Mai, Chiang Khong and golf courses.

What are local taxies/transportions in Chiang Rai?

Chiang Rai have 2 types of local taxies/transportations. Tuk Tuk is 3 wheels motorbike can fit for 2-3 person. Song Teaw is a small blue car can fit around 4-6 person. The price is upon negotiate with the driver around 50-80 Baht to go around Chiang Rai Town.

Do you have a tour desk where I can book excursions during my stay?

There is available in-house. Our tour desk will be able to make recommendations according to your needs.

Do you have special facilities and services available for the disabled guests?

With prior notice we can arrange easy wheelchair access as most of our facilities are on ground level. Bahtroom equipment can be arranged.

Can the hotel reconfirm my ongoing flight and make arrangement for domestic and international flights?

Yes, the Guest Relations staff in the Lobby will be pleased to assist with your travel arrangements.

Is a doctor available at the hotel?

We have a doctor on call 24 hours.

How far is the nearest hospital to the hotel?

1 km away from the hotel. It takes around 5-10 minutes by taxi. There are 3 hospitals: Chiang Rai Public hospital, Sriburin Hospital, Overbrook Hospital. Doctor on call is available 24 hrs.

Where is the nearest bank or currency exchange?

Currency can be exchanged at the night market. The nearest bank is located a 5 minutes walk away.

What is the currency in Thailand?

Banks are open from 09:30-15:30 hrs Monday to Friday only.

Can baggage be stored at the hotel whilst I travel to another location in Thailand?

However, guests will allowed to store the baggage whilst they travel to another location in Chiang Rai.

Can I get a massage at the hotel?

Yes, we have massage offering at the pool or in-room service.

Are there shops at the hotel?

We do not have shops

What voltage do you use in Thailand?

The electricity voltage in Thailand is at 220 volts. Adaptors are available at the hotel upon request.

What is the VAT refund system in Thailand?

Tourists are able to claim back the VAT on larger purchases when they exit the country. Most department stores provide the necessary forms for completion and will assist you.

Is it safe to drink tap water in Thailand?

The tap water in Thailand is not potable. Complimentary drinking water is provided in all guest rooms.

What is the weather like at different times of the year?

As a general guideline, the weather in Thailand is warm all year round. However, the weather is generally most pleasant from November to February when there are clear skies and sunshine. The hot season is from April and May, when temperatures reach their highest. The rainy season is between June and September although it does not rain every day and usually the rain only lasts for an hour or so in the evening.

What should I wear in Thailand?

Thai people are quite modest. Conservative dress is recommended. Shorts and sleeveless vests cannot be worn to visit a temple.

Are there any golf courses near the hotel?

Yes, there are. The air force golf courses are the nearest ones, being only 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The famous Santiburi golf course is located 15 minutes by taxi. The Waterford golf course is located half and hour drive from City.

Can I connect my laptop in the room?

Complimentary wireless internet access through out the resort.

What newspapers does the hotel receive and can these be delivered to my room?

The newspaper is available at the lobby.

Are there any shopping centres near the hotel and if so, where are they?

Central Plaza shopping center, Big C shopping center. It takes 10 minutes by taxi

How far is the hotel from the downtown shopping areas?

Laluna is located 5 minutes from city center. It is easy to access by local transportations. Our staff can organize the taxi

What are the local tourist attractions?

All of the main tourist attractions such as White Temple, the Queen’s mother royal garden, Chiang Rai’s beach are located near the city centre. Alternatively, you can head north of the city to Chiang Sean “the ancient City” , Golden triangle and Mae Sai.
